HAPPY ROTARY NEW YEAR!
FOUNDER'S NIGHT EDITION
Founders Night was held Friday June 28 at the beautiful new Dolphin Head Recreation Center. It was a wonderful night of fellowship, good food and libations to celebrate the successful 2023-24 year and induct the leadership for 2024-25.

Co-Presidents Sonny Huntley and Greg Wynn (along with other anonymous helpers) did a fabulous job leading the club during the 2023-2024 year. The club has been much revitalized and in growing mode again. Thank you Sonny and Greg for all you have done, your efforts are much appreciated by the membership.
VLR had a great year: had wonderful socials; awarded a $10,000 scholarship, brought in fantastic new members, had interesting, informative speakers at the meetings, met our Foundation goal, gave $3200 to polio, raised significant funds by working at the Heritage, Wing Fest, Oyster Fest and our raffle.

We had an interesting speaker, Dr. Debi Lynes. We learned much about addiction, dependance, treatment, recovery and how our brains work.

Dr. Lynes had a positive presention, saying addiction is 100% treatable and provided a list of treatment options.
