Our club participated in the Hilton Head Island Oyster Festival at Celebration Park on Saturday November 9 for the Island Rec. Center. Members put their talents to use pouring beer at the Beer stand.
Volunteers needed to deliver Holiday Gift Baskets on Tuesday November 26 and Monday December 23. John Farrenkopf is heading up the sign ups so please contact him.
There will be a social after basket delivery on November 26 to be held at Sundown Saloon in Port Royal Plaza.

Claude Hicks, Executive Director of Beaufort Jasper Housing Trust was the speaker. The mission of the trust is "to create and preserve work force and affordable housing in Beaufort and Jasper Counties" It is a non profit, fully functional 501C3 with its own Board of Directors. The BJHT believes everyone "deserves a place to thrive".

Joel Taylor - Novant Health Chief Market Officer from Hilton Head Hospital shared information about the recent purchase of the hospital. Novant Health, a non-profit company, is a four state integrated network of more than 2,000 physicians and 40,000 employees. There are more than 850 location including 19 hospitals, more than 700 physicians clinics and urgent care centers.
