Osprey Village, Inc. was formed in July, 2008 to empower individuals who have development disabilities, advocating on their behalf to facilitate meaningful employment, recreation and social opportunities, and affordable housing in an inclusive community of their choice. Osprey Village is a local grassroots effort to develop a new paradigm for providing housing and support services for local adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by following the ages-old model of "neighbor helping neighbor.

Every resident of Osprey Village will be able go enjoy:
  1. Self-determination, which means respecting the choice of the individual to live in their home town and with housemates of their choosing.
  2. Integration into the Community on an ongoing daily basis, including meaningful work, recreational and social opportunities.
  3. Independent Living that grows and maximizes their skills and potential in a supportive setting.
